Job description

  • Own the creation and scaling of an iconic brand that transforms people’s behaviour with their health

  • Set the forward-looking vision and strategy for the brand

  • Ensure all touchpoints consistently look, sound and feel like MANUAL

  • Define our marketing communications strategy; what we say to our customers and where we say it to bring our brand and new products to life

  • Build the biggest health and wellbeing community with the goal of helping people improve their health goals

  • Own, enhance and grow the visual identity of the brand across all touchpoints

  • Establish an always-on PR engine to share the brand story

  • Monitor, track and report on brand health across the company

  • Manage, coach and empower your team to be self-starters and facilitate their personal & professional growth

  • Think and operate uniquely and inventively. A lot of what we do has not been done before so implementing the right combination of creativity, customer feedback and commercial pragmatism is essential

  • Work closely with the leadership team to formulate the strategy of the whole business

  • Work closely with our Commercial team to bring innovative products to market and make them successful

  • Work hand in hand with our Product team to drive and relentlessly iterate our growth roadmap

  • Work in partnership with our People team to enhance our employer brand, showcasing MANUAL as a great place to work


Job requirements

  • A track record in helping high-growth consumer organisations scale their brands

  • A deep passion, understanding and love for the impact of brand and community

  • Capable of building consensus across a growing organisation and influencing at all levels, including the board

  • Comfortable with high growth environments and defining what success looks like instead of just delivering it

  • Extremely driven, curious, ambitious with a huge appetite for personal growth

  • Proven ability to build and lead high performing teams
