This is a rare opportunity to join one of the UK's fastest growing digital health companies and build the future of healthcare.

We are looking for a Clinical Researcher who is ambitious and up for the challenge of scaling and driving clinical research initiatives at MANUAL.


You’ll work closely with our multidisciplinary medical team, data and customer insights team to generate proprietary clinical research and disseminate outcomes internally and externally.


Responsibilities

  • Support study design and develop clinical study protocols, including objectives, methodology, statistical analysis, and operational plans.

  • Oversee the delivery of clinical studies, working with internal category teams (obesity, hypogonadism, menopause) and external CROs to support trials operations - patient recruitment, data collection, monitoring etc.

  • Data reporting and dissemination: Analyse clinical data to generate clinical insights and statistically sound conclusions for evidence generation. Draft manuscripts for internal and external publication.

  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely across different functional teams including data, marketing, product and ops.

Job requirements

  • MBBS, MSc or PhD in epidemiology, medical research, public health, or health-related field

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • You want to tackle hard problems and apply your research skills in a creative, fast-paced environment.


Desirable

  • Strong network of academic relationships and links to institutions

  • Experience in biostatistics and statistical modelling

  • Successful bids for Innovate UK, NIHR and/or other national grant allocations

  • Previous digital health, commercial or startup experience, managing multiple projects, complex priorities and different stakeholders (CEO, product, marketing, clinical teams etc.)
