Job description
We are seeking a motivated, empathetic, and detail-oriented Content and Community Manager to drive our social strategy. You will work across email communication and social channels to define and deliver a strategy which represents our brand and approach effectively. We have ambitious 2025 goals for content - building the reach of both Menopause Care and our founder Dr Naomi Potter. We want to expand into other channels as well as grow our existing audiences.
This is a dynamic role that combines creativity, strategy, and community-building skills. You will own how we communicate and connect with our audience and our patients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Social Media Strategy and Execution
Plan, brief, and schedule engaging social media content across all platforms.
Own the social content calendar and develop strategies to optimise reach and engagement.
Create and execute a roadmap for expanding our presence on additional social channels.
Collaborate directly with Dr. Naomi Potter and other menopause care doctors to refine and implement the organic social media roadmap.
Monitor, measure, and report on the performance of organic social campaigns, making data-driven adjustments.
Community Engagement
Actively engage with our community across all social platforms, providing empathetic, warm, and timely responses.
Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for our audience to connect and share their experiences.
Gather and analyse community insights to inform the social media strategy, product development, and growth initiatives.
CRM and Email Strategy
Own the CRM strategy and collaborate with copywriters and CRM teams to ensure consistent, high-quality email communications.
Develop email campaigns that resonate with our audience and align with our broader content strategy.
Content Management and Collaboration
Project manage other content workstreams, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with brand messaging.
Collaborate with internal teams, including product, commercial, and growth, to ensure content aligns with business objectives.
Reporting and Analysis
Regularly report on the progress and performance of organic social initiatives.
Leverage data to provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
Job requirements
At least 4 years of experience in content and/or social media roles
Empathetic and Warm: A genuine desire to connect with and support women during a pivotal stage in their lives
Driven and Motivated: A proactive self-starter with a strong work ethic and a results-oriented mindset. We make the most of every day
Organised: Skilled in managing multiple projects simultaneously without sacrificing quality
High Attention to Detail: Meticulous in ensuring that all content and communications meet our high standards
Comfortable with Numbers: Confident in analysing data and reporting on key metrics
Bonus Skills: Comfortable editing videos and creating social posts to support content execution
Preferably has marketed to audiences over 40, within women's health, or has menopause marketing experience
