About the role:

We’re looking for a skilled and versatile Mid-level Copywriter to help us craft strategic and impactful copy that educates, informs and nurtures our patients. 

You’ll write primarily for our Menopause Care brand, playing a critical role in shaping the brand voice, creating exceptional content across the full patient journey, and making sure our messaging is clear, consistent and aligned with our overall strategy.

This role is perfect for a writer who thrives in a creative environment and who can truly empathise with the audience they’re writing for (in this case, women who are about to enter or are already in the menopause). The ability to write in a way that’s professional yet warm is key.

Job requirements

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Style guides & editorial standards: Partner with Frankie (Lead Copywriter) Dr. Naomi Potter and our content team to develop and refine brand tone of voice, style guides and editorial guidelines.

  • Email & patient communications: Write clear, empathetic and engaging emails that guide patients through every stage of their journey with us.

  • Social media copy: Craft concise and attention-grabbing paid ad copy and captions tailored for various platforms, ensuring our tone resonates with our audience.

  • Product copy: Write product descriptions and messaging that communicate key benefits and features while maintaining brand consistency.

  • Strategic funnel copywriting: Tailor messaging based on the patient’s intent and stage in the funnel:

  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to align content with broader business goals and marketing strategies.

What we’re looking for:

  • +4 years of experience in-house or agency side.

  • Proven experience as a copywriter, content writer or similar role.

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a knack for balancing creativity and strategy.

  • Strong understanding of our patient experiences and how to tailor messaging to different stages of the funnel.

  • Experience building and refining tone-of-voice guidelines and editorial standards.

  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.

  • Highly organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects at once.

  • A passion for storytelling and creating patient-centric content.

  • Ability to use data and user research to inform strategy and copy

  • Experience working in health (especially women’s health), wellness or a patient-facing industry.

  • Bonus: Experience collaborating closely with product designers to develop creative solutions, ensuring alignment with product objectives and enhancing the ability to hit the ground running.
