Job description

As the Finance Manager, you will be a key member in the team, providing essential support to the Group Financial Controller and VP of Finance. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of finance control: Month End reporting, VAT submissions, R&D tax claims, balance sheet reconciliations, maintaining accurate accounts and payroll.


You will  build, lead and maintain the finance function, defining processes and procedures - you will play a key role in shaping the function. This includes producing and interpreting financial reporting both internally and externally when needed, managing the year end audit process as well as any other duties reasonably requested to support the business from a Finance perspective.

Job requirements

  • 2+ years post qualified experience working in the finance profession

  • ACA or ACCA qualified

  • Advanced technical skills and analytic skills incl. Excel/Google Sheet

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Confident speaking with key stakeholders at various levels, including external advisors and auditors

  • Detail oriented whilst working under pressure and within tight deadlines

  • A team player that is self driven with a growth mindset


Desirable

  • Top 6 audited trained with startup experience

  • A keen interest in health and startups

  • Experience of managing and supporting junior team members

  • Experience with Accounting Software packages (Netsuite)
