Job description

The Finance & Strategy Manager will be a business partner to leaders across Commercial, Growth, Operations and Clinical, helping to drive decision making and performance. You'll be working closely with non-Finance stakeholders, whilst also owning traditional finance roles across controllership, reporting and planning. You will report to the Head of Finance & Strategy. The role is based in Bermondsey, with at least 3 days a week in the office.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategic and financial planning, including yearly and quarterly P&L forecasting, and resource allocation between geographies and categories

  • Providing daily financial insights and strategic guidance to all of our cross-functional teams, as well as developing comprehensive business cases for new initiatives

  • Preparation and communication of Group-wide financial and KPI reporting

  • Assisting with Investor Relations activities, including fundraising

Job requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in an investment bank, consulting firm or a similar role within other hyper-growth companies

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships across the organisation, while confidently challenging stakeholders when necessary

  • To be proactive and self-driven, with a strong sense of ownership; someone who constantly seeks opportunities to create and drive initiatives forward independently

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels

  • Willingness and ability to operate in an unstructured environment, tackling unstructured problems

  • Advanced financial modelling and big data analysis skills, with the ability to deliver actionable insights
