We’re looking for a driven and motivated Internal Recruiter to join our People team and support our business growth at MANUAL. You’ll be partnering with hiring managers and the leadership team to build and execute sourcing strategies to activate high-quality diverse candidate pools. You’ll drive a qualitative selection process in line with our framework and deliver top quality hires in an effective manner. You will have end-to-end ownership for the Engineering & Data hiring across MANUAL. This is an ideal role for someone who wants to challenge themselves in a fast-paced environment in order to attract highly talented individuals.


As an Internal Recruiter, you will be responsible for managing the entire recruitment lifecycle, from partnering with hiring managers to define the need, sourcing and attracting top talent to delivering an exceptional candidate experience. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape our teams and contribute to our success.


This is a 6 months fixed-term contract to be renewed based on both individual and business performance.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the recruitment cycle for Engineering & Data, from job posting to offer acceptance.


Sourcing and Screening:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their needs and develop tailored sourcing strategies.

  • Leverage multiple sourcing channels to attract diverse candidates, including job boards, social media, referrals and networking events.

  • Conduct initial screenings to make a recommendation to the hiring manager based on the candidates' skills, experience and values alignment.

  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.


Talent Pipeline Management:

  • Engage with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing timely updates and feedback.

  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and other stakeholders.

  • Develop innovative strategies to attract passive candidates and build relationships with potential candidates.


Candidate Experience:

  • Ensure a positive and seamless candidate experience from application to onboarding by acting as primary point of contact for candidates, addressing their queries and providing support throughout the recruitment process.

  • Collaborate with the People team to coordinate onboarding activities and ensure a smooth transition for new hires.


Data Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate candidate records in Recruitee, our ATS.

  • Generate recruitment reports to track progress and measure the effectiveness of recruitment efforts.

Job requirements

  • 6+ years of experience as a recruiter, preferably in a start-up or scale-up

  • Demonstrated expertise in sourcing, screening and offer negotiation in a fast paced environment

  • Passion for hands-on sourcing and screening with a deep understanding of engineering & data crafts 

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with candidates and stakeholders at all levels

  • Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks in an ambiguous environment

  • Proactive and adaptable to changing priorities with a solution orientation

  • Self-motivated and resilient to evolving business needs

  • Humility and ability to collaborate with other people team members

  • Salary range of £55,000 to £65,000 based on experience
