Job description
We are looking for a talented individual to join our Clinical Operations team as an Operations Associate. This candidate will work closely with our Clinical teams (doctors, coaches and clinicians) to scale and optimise patient service at Manual. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-growth startup, taking on substantial responsibility early on. If you like driving operational efficiency, problem-solving and are ownership-driven, this role is for you!
RESPONSIBILITIES
Scheduling & Rota Management: Coordinate and manage clinical supply and scheduling to ensure great patient care delivery and team performance. Goals include patient wait times, team utilisation, cost
Team Management: Drive and track hiring and onboarding workflow for new clinical team members
Capacity Planning: Support team planning process, e.g. hiring target setting
Operational Efficiency: Design and implement scalable processes, underpinned by technology
System: Improve the use of existing systems and tools to streamline operations and build scalable processes
Job requirements
Track record in a fast-paced operations management or management consulting role
A true owner - you know what’s happening across your area of responsibility and you have a curiosity to uncover, diagnose and resolve potential problems and risks
‘Get things done’ - Willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the job done
An operational mindset - actively seeking continuous improvement, scalable processes and not shying away from complex problems
Proven ability to be organised, independent and deliver results
Strong problem-solving skills and comfortable working with data
Excellent people skills, ability to empathise, and ability to ask key questions to understand pain points
