Job description

We are looking to hire a Research and Operations Associate to support delivery of our clinical research initiatives. Reporting to the Clinical Research Lead, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating research projects. 


This is an ideal role for someone who wants to challenge themselves in a fast-paced environment, is highly organised and self-motivated, and possesses excellent team-working and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate with utmost sensitivity around difficult topics. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in managing and coordinating clinical research projects from initiation to completion, ensuring all milestones are met on time.

  • Ensure compliance with study protocols, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards

  • Collect, process, and maintain accurate and complete study documentation and record, while ensuring data quality and integrity

  • Serve as the primary contact for study participants, providing information and support throughout the study duration. Conduct informed consent processes and manage participant visits

  • Effectively communicate with study participants, team members, and external partners. Handle sensitive topics with empathy and professionalism

  • Work closely with the research team to ensure the successful execution of research protocols

  • Support monitoring of study progress and conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to study protocols and regulatory standards. Identify and address any issues or deviations.

  • Monitor key progress metrics to ensure adherence to protocols and timelines

  • Assist in the preparation of study reports, presentations, and publications

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., life sciences, healthcare, clinical research)

  • Knowledge of clinical trial design, regulatory requirements, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines

  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and and electronic data capture (EDC) systems

  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
