Job description
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Social Media Intern to support our Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) department. In this role, you will have the opportunity to dive deep into the health and wellness space, specifically focused on the growing field of testosterone optimization and men’s health. You will collaborate closely with the Growth Manager of TRT to help create compelling social media campaigns that educate, inform, and engage with our audience.
The TRT department is a critical area of growth for Manual Health, and as a Social Media Intern, you will be involved in driving awareness around the benefits of testosterone therapy while making a meaningful impact on brand visibility. You’ll have the chance to engage directly with the community, shape the digital voice of our department, and help remove stigmas surrounding men’s health.
Your role will be crucial in creating and distributing content that promotes trust and fosters open conversations about TRT, which can be a sensitive and complex subject. This will involve balancing creativity with responsibility, crafting messages that resonate with our diverse audience, and presenting information in an accessible, respectful, and educational manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in the creation and scheduling of daily social media content across multiple platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok).
Support the development of visually compelling graphics and multimedia content for social media campaigns.
Monitor and engage with social media followers, responding to comments and messages in a timely manner, under guidance.
Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and relevant health topics to inform social media strategy.
Track and analyze social media performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
Help in the planning and execution of social media advertising campaigns aimed at increasing brand visibility and engagement for the TRT department.
Assist in brainstorming and contributing creative ideas for social media campaigns and initiatives.
Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure content aligns with overall marketing objectives and brand guidelines.
Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.
Job requirements
Strong interest in social media marketing and the health industry, particularly testosterone replacement therapy.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
Experience with popular social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok) and a passion for engaging with online communities.
Basic knowledge of social media scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Later) and design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Creativity, initiative, and eagerness to learn.
Knowledge or interest in health and wellness trends is highly desirable.
BENEFITS
This is a part time role. c.20-30 hours per week. Though this could increase over time.
You need to be available during working hours each day to perform critical daily tasks.
This is a freelance internship role, which initially lasts for 3 months.
