Job description

We are looking to hire a Social Media Manager to join our dynamic Creative team here at MANUAL. As the Social Media Manager at MANUAL, you will be responsible for spearheading the development of captivating and innovative content across all our social media platforms. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand identity, generating and producing big thinking ideas that not only engage our audience but also drive brand awareness and growth through our social channels. This position requires a highly creative individual with a passion for storytelling, a deep understanding of social media trends and best practices, and an ability to work agilely in a start-up environment .

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Channel Management: Manage the day-to-day handling of all our social channels and optimise content across various social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok.

  • Tracking and results: monitor, track, analyse and report on performance on social media platforms using tools such as Google Analytics and Facebook Insights, working closely with our Growth Marketing team to share updates and areas for improvement.

  • Trend Monitoring: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and social media innovations, leveraging insights to inform content strategy, execution and overall channel tracking.

  • Growth: Organically increase follower growth and engagement on MANUAL’s core social channels through best-in-class content, making MANUAL synonymous with men’s health and wellbeing.

  • Content Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy for MANAUL's social media channels, aligning with overall brand objectives and target audience preferences.

  • Ideation and Concepting: Lead brainstorming sessions to generate creative concepts and ideas that resonate with our audience and differentiate us from competitors.

  • Content Creation: Oversee the creation of high-quality and visually appealing content, including graphics, videos, GIFs, and other multimedia assets, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines.

  • Community Engagement: Foster meaningful interactions with our audience, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, design, and copy, to ensure content alignment and coherence across all touchpoints.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

  • +4 years of experience in social media management, content creation or digital marketing.

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media campaigns that drive engagement and brand growth.

  • Strong creative vision and the ability to think strategically while also paying attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for storytelling and brand narrative.

  • Familiarity with social media analytics platforms (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Google Analytics) and the ability to interpret data to inform decision-making.

  • Passion for technology, innovation, and staying ahead of the curve in the digital landscape.
