Job description

We are looking to hire an experienced Supply Chain Manager that will be responsible for executing our Supply Chain strategy together with our Head of Supply Chain.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Procurement
  • Support the development of Manual strategic sourcing process whilst developing the overarching procurement strategy
  • Forecast levels of demand
  • Conduct research to source the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality
  • Run tenders, evaluate and make recommendations, based on commercial and operational factors
  • Negotiate and agree contracts, monitoring OTIF
  • Develop strategies to make sure that cost savings and supplier performance targets are met - or exceeded
  • Supplier Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain good relationships with new and existing suppliers
  • Leading strategic and operational supplier reviews primarily with Critical/High-Risk Suppliers
  • Undertaking assurance activities to ensure all controls, processes, documentation, and procedures are reviewed regularly and adhered to
  • Driving supplier performance management and delivering continual improvement.
  • Manage contract renewals, prices and negotiate with a range of suppliers.
  • Management of all reporting, creating dashboards for the senior leadership team and any other ad hoc reporting required.
  • Demand and Supply Planning
  • Build effective production and supply plans to fulfil demand.
  • Maintaining and tracking of all inventory materials in all locations – conducting regular inventory reconciliations, investigating variances with warehouse, or suppliers, and flagging internally.
  • Ability to generate demand and supply models


Job requirements

  • University degree

  • 5+ years of Supply Chain experience
  • Previous experience in FMGC or Pharmacy (beneficial)
  • Advanced level of MS Excel
  • Advanced Data Analytics skills
  • Great communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in multiple projects under pressure
  • Ability to work autonomously/independently with support when needed
  • Confident in working with a variety of people at different levels of seniority
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and an ability to prioritise and manage a high volume of tasks and deadlines
  • Advanced reporting and presentation skills
  • Proven experience of procurement
  • Excellent relationship building skills
