MANUAL is looking for a talented and creative Video Editor & Videographer to join our in-house team. This role is ideal for a passionate individual with a strong eye for detail, creative storytelling, and a deep understanding of video and visual media. You will play a key role in capturing, editing, and producing high-quality video content that aligns with the brand’s vision and core messaging. The ideal candidate is a dynamic team player, who thrives in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.


As a Video Editor & Videographer, you will be responsible for both the technical and creative aspects of production—shooting high-quality footage, editing videos to perfection, and ensuring that all content aligns with the brand’s aesthetic and goals. An ideal candidate will have the ability to maximise content and future proof projects to allow for future iterations.

RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Video Production: Working closely with our in-house production team you will plan, shoot, and edit compelling video content. Your main creative focus will be our customer testimonials and medical expert content which will run across paid ads, website, organic social and CRM, while maintaining the MANUAL brand’s visual style and tone.

  • Editing: Execute high-quality video edits including colour grading, sound mixing, and motion graphics, delivering polished final products.

  • Collaborate: Work closely with the creative team, other videographers, marketing, creative, and product teams to brainstorm and develop content that aligns with campaign goals, messaging, and brand strategy.

  • Storytelling: Bring a creative eye to storyboarding and video concept development, translating complex ideas into engaging visual narratives.

  • Content Management: Organise and manage all video assets, ensuring that raw footage, final edits, and project files are stored efficiently for future use.

  • Creative Input: Contribute fresh ideas to enhance video campaigns and branding efforts, staying current with video and media trends.

  • Equipment Maintenance: Manage and maintain video equipment, ensuring all our video gear is in top condition and ready for use at all times

Job requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in videography and video editing, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of work.
  • Software Proficiency: Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop), Final Cut Pro, or equivalent video editing software.
  • Camera Skills: Strong technical knowledge of camera equipment, lighting setups, and audio gear, with the ability to independently shoot high-quality video.
  • Creativity: A keen eye for visual composition, colour, and detail, with a passion for storytelling through video.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and take direction effectively.
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, delivering work within tight deadlines.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure final video output meets the highest quality standards.
  • Trend Awareness: Up-to-date with the latest trends in video editing, content creation, and digital media.
